The Seiko 0634-5019 is an iconic, vintage digital watch released in 1975. Renowned as the world’s first digital liquid crystal (LCD) chronograph, it featured a distinctive sloping, heavy stainless steel case and set a premium standard for 1970s, Often called the “Isaac Hayes” model, the 0634-5019 is celebrated for its brutalist, angular case design and prominent front buttons. When it launched, this watch was so highly prized and technologically advanced that it originally cost more than many premium mechanical watches of that era, including the Rolex and the Omega Speedmaster.
